NATURAL FIBRE

ENGINEERED

TO PERFORM

KiwiFibre develops advanced natural fibre reinforcement materials for high-performance composite applications.

Two material families sit at the heart of KiwiFibre Reinforcements – KiwiFibre Hemp and KiwiFibre Harakeke. Both available in technical textile and tape formats, helping manufacturers move from synthetic fibres to natural alternatives that are traceable and built to perform.

KiwiFibre Harakeke

Premium harakeke reinforcement materials.

Harakeke is native to Aotearoa New Zealand, and we're developing this remarkable natural fibre into advanced reinforcement materials designed to compete with synthetic alternatives.

We're working with a small group of strategic partners to bring these materials to market.

Processed at our pilot plant near Mount Hutt in the South Island, our harakeke is tracked from paddock to product through FibreFlow, giving partners a clear picture of where it comes from, how it's processed and how it performs.

KiwiFibre Hemp

Engineered hemp reinforcement materials.

Not all hemp performs equally. How it's grown, processed and manufactured makes a difference.

KiwiFibre Hemp is sourced from Saxony, Germany – where hemp cultivation spans thousands of years – and converted into high-performance reinforcement materials using specialist manufacturing technology developed for composite applications.

Hemp 400 XP and Hemp 200 R are engineered reinforcements, not commodity fibre. With zero THC and full traceability through FibreFlow, every batch can be tracked from origin to finished material.

Proof Before Promise

Natural fibres have enormous potential. But manufacturers need more than potential – they need confidence in the materials they're working with. That's why traceability matters.

Through FibreFlow, KiwiFibre tracks fibre from origin through processing, building the data and understanding needed to support consistent, high-performance materials.
